Common
questions

Can you guarantee my application will be approved?

No. Immigration decisions are made by government officers, and no consultant or lawyer can honestly guarantee an approval, a nomination or a processing time. What MAMI can do is give you an honest view of your options and help you prepare a careful, accurate application.

Is the free assessment really free?

Yes. MAMI reviews what you send and replies with a written quote or a recommended next step. It isn’t a full eligibility assessment, and it doesn’t create a consultant–client relationship.

How do I know MAMI is licensed?

Malik Ashraf, RCIC-IRB holds licence number R713294 with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). You can check it yourself on the CICC public register.

Do you work with clients outside Calgary?

Yes. MAMI is based in Calgary, and every consultation is online by Google Meet, so we work with clients anywhere.

Is MAMI a law firm?

No. MAMI Immigration is an immigration consulting practice led by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. If your matter needs a lawyer, such as certain Federal Court proceedings, MAMI will tell you and refer you.

General information only. Using this website or contacting MAMI doesn’t create a consultant–client relationship.
