What this website collects
Assessment requests
When you request an assessment, we ask only for what we need to reply: your name, email, optionally a phone number, the service you’re interested in, a few questions about your situation and any message you write. Please don’t send passport, UCI, SIN, bank or card numbers, or documents, through the website. Form submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, and emailed to MAMI.
Consultation bookings
When you book, your name, email, optional phone number, country and note, the time you chose and your acceptance of the consultation agreement are used to schedule the meeting through our calendar provider, Cal.com, which adds it to our Google calendar and sends your confirmation and reminders.
Payments
Consultation fees and invoices are paid through Stripe on Stripe’s secure pages. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our website or our staff. We receive your name, email, the amount and what it was for, so we can record the payment.
Email, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you share. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own terms. Please don’t send sensitive documents by WhatsApp unless we have agreed a method with you.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe and Cal.com may set cookies needed for security and fraud prevention on their own pages. Our host may record basic technical information, such as IP address and pages requested, in server logs for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
Service providers outside Canada
Netlify, Cal.com, Stripe and Google may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How we use your information
- to reply to your assessment request and prepare a quote;
- to schedule and hold your consultation;
- to process and record payments;
- to keep a record of our communications and meet our professional and legal obligations.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
If you don’t become a client, we keep your assessment request and booking records for up to two years and then delete them. Client files are kept for as long as the CICC’s professional rules and the law require.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for its use, subject to legal and professional obligations. Contact info@mamicanada.ca.
